For the community. 6-7pm. Teachers will share the importance of play, exploration, and learning each day at our center. Children can share their daily routine, learning activities, and the different areas of interest in their classrooms. Families can visit classrooms: the one your child is currently in and the one your child will be attending in the upcoming year.
Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
April 6, 2024
Do you like Pancakes? AGUMCC is having a Pancake Fundraiser Saturday, April 6th from 9am to 11am at 404 Front St. in Avila Beach. Tickets are $10; you get pancakes, eggs, sausage, hash browns, orange juice, and coffee. Tickets are available between Sunday services starting about 9:30am. You also can stop by the Children’s Center office between 9 to 10 and 4 to 5 daily. AGUMCC gets %50 of the proceeds. Our goal is to sell 100 tickets and raise $1,000. Please share this community event with family and friends. The proceeds will help the staff attend the California Association for the Education of Young Children’s Conference in Pasadena April 18–21, 2024.

2022 Pennies for Turkeys Community Service Project
Now thru November 18, 2022
It's time to collect your pennies and spare change to help families who are in need in our community. Please bring your pennies and/or spare change in by Fri., November 18, 2022. Last year we raised $645.80. Our goal this year is to raise $500. Did you know that for every $1 you give, it has a value of $10 at the Food Bank? Look for the collection container in your child's classroom. We have been participating in this community service project since 2005 and have raised over $4,000. The money raised each year is given to the Five Cities Christian Women's Food Pantry to purchase turkeys for the Christmas Baskets for families in need in our community. Thank you for helping with this wonderful community service project.

It is always good to plan ahead when looking for a quality program. We pride ourselves on having an educated staff that have a love for and commitment to young children. We work hard on creating an environment that stands for quality, by following the standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. We provide a low child-to-teacher ratios; 4:1 for toddlers and 6:1 for preschool and Pre K.

Please collect your pennies and share your spare change so the Five Cities Christian's Women's Group can buy Turkeys for families in need this holiday season.
