The trip to the Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Rookery was an exceptional experience! We saw an elephant seal being born directly in front of us. We all thoroughly enjoyed docent Amanda who travels all the way from southern Los Angeles to volunteer. She was especially great at sharing.
